The Challenge / Opportunity
Their problem was that in order to carry out daily time critical U K National news article processing, they need ed to m aintain an expensive team of night shift staff in central London offices. This meant high costs reducing their profitability. The production and HR management overheads were also im pacting their ability to focus on wider buiness growth opportunities
 
Our Thinking and Approach
What we did was implement a suite of internet based software applications to support the core Media Monitoring, Client Management and Report Generation processing. We then established a dedicated and fully managed team of news analysts based at Cohezia’s India offices to carry out the core news article processing (KPO - Knowledge Process Outsourcing) for 22 of the main daily UK National newspapers and associated supplements. The work includes reading the news articles, identification of relevant keywords, tagging the articles and writing appropriate summaries within very strict daily time limits.
This meant that core production costs were significantly reduced, quality and client services levels were improved and the senior management team were able to focus on, and achieve business growth.
